When I launch the game, it gets to the user agreement screen, but I can't select anything. Keyboard inputs don't work and clicking with the mouse makes the monitor go black for a second then reload. It seems like the game is running full screen but is not the active window? I've tried disabling all overlays but that didn't work. It doesn't recognize that a controller is connected either. Launch is through steam. Drivers are updated. Uninstalled and reinstalled. EA app updated.

Had the same issue, somehow I managed to accept the user agreement and get to the opening scene, and get to the graphics options so I could finally launch a new game.The opening scene then replayed so i tried to skip it and that put me back to the main menu, I decided to quit and relaunch the game but i’ m now stuck back to the point where I can’t with anything as it did before I could accept the user agrement.So although the game launches I can’t get to play it

after the first patch i bought the game again and adding the "-windowed" argument in launch options in the game properties on steam seems to be effective

@gencc3 Wanted to check if you are still running into this? Do you have any security running that might prevent changes to installed files?

Somehow i have the same issue, but i quickly find a way to solve the problem. All you have to do is rapidly press the cancel button on your controller after the intro and before the user agreement part pop up, just rapidly press that button.

Did u find a way to fix this? I’m on PS4 and I’m having same issue

I had the same issue, to resolve this i linked my Sony account to my EA account, once i did that (which is easy) i could play and no longer got that screen.
