Account info stolen, unable to change password due to a security key
So I haven't played ToR in a VERY long time. Today I received an email that my EA password & email was changed out of the blue. Nothing else changed. The email was also in Russian. A few clicks later, I have access to the EA account again, password changed, and language changed back to English. I also got an email saying:
"Voison:
Your account on the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ website has been successfully updated! Remember, we have also updated your EA account using this email address.
If you did not authorize this change or if you need assistance with your account, please contact a member of our Customer Service Team."
I tried clicking on the link in the email, but I keep just getting the run around on what to do. Is there anyway to change my password without a security key...? I don't think I ever set one up, so the person who changed my info probably threw one on. :/
At this point it probably would be best to call customer service to have them reset your account password and update the information. For security purposes they can only assist with account issues via phone. You can use the information below to contact them but this would probably be the best way to get the issue resolved.
