Bounty Hunter Companion Missing NOT KoTFE Related

I just completed the bounty hunter class quests on Taris and unlocked Torian Cadera, had a couple dialogues with him on my ship, then proceeded to the next planet and...  He's no longer on my compani...

I am also having this problem. Currently waiting for patch 4.0.1 to finalize to see if it has been fixed. The patch notes states that some companions are no longer on the ship, in another location, but I still can't access him on the companion log.

Still missing and no official acknowledgement of this issue.  The Imperial Agents got their companion back; why don't we?

    Consulars still dont have zenith back so we are in the same boat.
