Can't buy SWTOR sub and Cartel Coins

Hey there,

As the title says I can't buy anytihing in my account on SWTOR website.

When I add my debit card details and press the button for the next step, it says: "this field contains an invalid character".

My first name contains a letter with accent and it falls apart into several other characters. My last purchase was in 2020 without having any problems and this error is sometihing I've never experienced before.

It seems to be a server side problem because my account is working so as the game itself.

I reseted my SWTOR and EA account passwords too, and also tried the purchase in different browsers.

Any help/idea would be appreciated.

Additional info:

- SWTOR display name: VeNoMKrBn

- Server: Darth Malgus

    not sure, can only pass on what was told to me, try and see without the space first so maybe just "a"

    @vnm51 

    maybe try attaching that card to paypal and purchase via paypal 

    have flagged to check the account to be sure of no account issue , response will be in about 9 hrs when support are online for the day

    @vnm51 

    support said there is no account issue 

    They suggest if there's a special character in your name, should just skip it (if it's a ', space instead should work)

    If I get it right: instead of "á" should be "a" and space before the next letter.

    Is that correct?

    I forgot to tell you, I tried that before. I mean using the letter without accent.

    It said my card name and what I typed doesn't mach.

    So it seems the server could check and recognize my name just can't accept the accents via website.

    I give the space version a try.
