Provide a dxdiag initially per this link
dropping fps is normal in a warzone but if it is just occurring when grouping it may not be
Definitely turn vsync off though for now and ensure windows power options are set to high performance

Apologies, I thought I had. Power settings are on high performance and Vsync is off.

Going back to basics first for good housekeeping
Hard to tell your bios version , gather this is your board (Link) so check if have the latest available.
May be worth disabling the elgato capture card to test too.
If you press the windows key and type reliability and open the reliability history see what is listed, the dxdiag does list some crashes as the end for example just not with swtor but the game capture card is listed.
other then that cant see anything out of place in the dxdiag itself.

Okay, so it looked like a BIOS update or two did sneak by me, but I've brought that up to date now. I've also started a fresh install of the game so it'll be a few moments before I can see if that worked or not.
Also, the capture card software did crash a few times earlier today. When I was rolling the graphics drivers forward and back I had forgotten to close the software, crashing it. I don't think it's related to the issue. I've also tried a few times without the capture card plugged in to see if that was part of the issue, and no luck.
