Hello, I am having a issue that is similar to this post!
I played SWTOR many years ago and recently decided to return. When I try to log in with user name "mpwears", I couldn't remember my password. I hit to reset my password but it asks for my security code. I tried to download the security app due to not have a physical key but my cell says the app is too old and cannot be downloaded. I found where to manually remove my security code but its asks me to log in.
Here in be my issue, if I can't log in the remove the security code due to needing a security code to reset my password to log in, how can I get access to my account.
My question is; Is there anyway I can get the security code removed or a temp password sent so I can log in and remove the security code myself
The e-mail tied to the "mpwears" username has the same name.

I have 100% the same problem. I've already tried to write an email to EA support (only the SW:TOR website has the option to call = which is out of the question for me, I'm from the Czech Republic).
I never thought that I would be dealing with such a precise example of how to make it impossible for players to log in or change their password 😅
I need a key to log in, the security application does not support Android newer than 2015, the email with the one-time key did not arrive even after the thirtieth attempt since yesterday, to reset the password and remove the two-phase verification, I need a key, which I have no way to get = a dead end and the only option would probably be to create a new email and then a new account 🤔
Well, nothing, the longed-for fun has turned into such stress that I'd rather go play something else 🤷♂️😅
EA support are unable to assist people with swtor account issues
if you do not know the password on that swtor account and also dont have access to the security key on that account. your only recourse to get access to that account is call swtor support on monday when the lines are open, once you prove ownership of that account they will remove the key so you can reset the password on that account.
otherwise create a new account will be your only other option

EA support are unable to remove a security key from an account
swtor support are a different support line and can only remove a key by phone call if you are unable to remove the key yourself in the web browser as seen below by leaving the key blank
( note the password needs to be known)

If need you can have someone talk on your behalf providing you are there to provide responses to questions to prove account ownership
