What really bothers me is that the Artifact Equipment Authorization (Account) is a Cartel item,made for FTP and Preferred Players to unlock the Artifact Equipment features from the Subscriber status permanently.
So, it seems unreasonable that in order to make this kind of item work, I have to become a subscriber.
It renders the item completely useless.

i think EA CS is not too dumb to understand ur logic, they just need information of ur character id, maybe u can find a way to communicate with their CS, it happend to me b4, even i create in-game ticket, their CS still cant help me without some info, sometimes i wounder, english is not even their 1st language as mine.

This is a bug right now nothing more. The Item is made for FTP / Preferred but right now it's not unlocking or even if it does unlock some items still say that it requires the authorization for it. Unfortunately until the bug is fixed the only way to get around it is to subscribe.
Can you equip any items at all ? or is it just certain items still ?
The issue of equipment authorisation should now be fixed, if there are particular items still affected these will need to be identified and listed for submission.
ideally need a screenshot that shows the exact item name this can then be passed to the studio for investigation.
Some purple Items I can equip, others I can't.
Is there a difference between them?
Because on the page that stated the differences between FTP, Pref. Player and Subscriber,
said that the purple gear could be equipped if the proper Authorzation was bougth with Cartel Coins.
I have an update to report.
Yesterday I received an answer from a e-mail I sent before even posting here in the forum.
He explained that they were overwhelmed with Tickets and only now my case could be checked.
It was stated that my item had a problem, so he recreated the item on my character.
It was noticeable the change, the Cartel symbol on the Item changed from Bronze to Silver.
I was able to use the item this time, but there was no message and no effect.
Just now, another member from Customer Support replied and after a process of re-buying the item from the Cartel Market,everything worked.
I'm able to equip EVERY artifact item, as stated on the page.
So, thanks for the help everyone. I hope that this case can help other people that has similar trouble.
