Re: Can't access guild ship

This is a known issue with logging out when your on a guild ship.  The fastest work around for this bug is to have a guild member remove whichever character is stuck not loading from the guild, this should kick that character to the fleet.  Once that is done, they can readd you back to the guild.

If that doesn't work or is not an option, you would need to submit an in-game ticket and include:

Character Name

Server

Date / Time last logged

This will allow them to move that character to the fleet to fix.

As for logging into the guild ship and it not loading, try the above as well, have them remove re-add back to the guild.

    I tried removing those characters from the guild however i am still experiencing the infinite loading screen when trying to log into those toons i even made someone else GM and had them remove my toons and still nothing guess i get to make a list of 13 characters....

    Unfortunately if that didn't work then yes an in-game ticket would be needed.  Just list all the characters stuck and they should be able to move them to the fleet.  One thing you can do before hand would be try some repairs:

    Delete the DiskCacheArena file under the swtor directory.

    If that doesn't work, you can also try running a repair:

    Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pull down on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

    Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.

    If not then yes a ticket would be needed.

    Tried Deleting the DiskCacheArena file and running repair and nothing filed a ticket hope they can fix it soon

    /Bump any word on this issue? the silence from the devs is irritating to say the least i have 13 toons locked on the guild ship cant log into them and 3 of them are on the Dr. Lokin Quest 2 on quizen hoping to get lokin on them if they cant get this issue fixed by next week I expect lokin to be auto granted to me or the rackghoul event extended a week

    And just randomly it starts working again.... Thank you BW / EA for the updates.... /eyeroll

    There has been no reply or acknowledgement of the problem.  I don't think they even bother reading this EA Answers garbage.  All I see is people saying "submit an in-game ticket" or "post in the bug tracker forum on the SWTOR site".  I updated my thread there about this particular problem and listed all the threads I found about the same thing to try and show them that it is not an isolated incident.

  • The in-game ticket option can take a while, took just under 2 weeks for me to get a reply from them saying they would move my character off the guild ship which was pointless as I'd already been sorted out by ringing them up. They moved my character off the guild ship while I was still on the phone so by the end of the call I was on fleet running around.  One thing to keep in mind is that some of the support staff will insist they can't help and that it's a bug with the game that requires the developers to fix it.  Just call them back and hope you get another customer service agent that is not just looking for the fastest way to end the call.  I was lucky and got someone who clearly knew what they were doing, thanks again Russel 🙂
