Alright, I just really like the look of it and it's a customisable piece, so it would have been nice to use it.
Ah well, hopefully it does get fixed.

just to clarify this fully @InfernoZola and @Ahrngrim.
All Cartel Market Items that have mods in them, are not unlockable in the collection. This is working as intended and not a bug. This will also not be changed in the future.
The details on the item set, when you look it up in the collection also state that copies can only be obtain by buying it again from the cartel market.

Working as intended but, removing the mods, wich are essential useless,
an make them available through collection would be an option.
An I remember some DEV post that they see that the situation isn't optimal and they have it on the ever growing list of things to do.
