Re: Can't validate the One-Time password because I don't get the email

Guys and Gals,

I have been informed if you are in a position to call CS at present they can provide an OTP over the phone to enable login so you can play.

    Sadly us in the UK are either stuck here for another 2 hours as of the time of this post; waiting to phone CS. Or waiting to get the issue resolved.

    Yes, sadly so, Ashinga. While i appreciate what Proxos is doing, i remember the last time i called on the customer service line and it took a long time to get around to my problem. Sorry, but i don't wish to repeat that process. I can wait for the fix.

  • Well i guess if we dont live in those countries we *****. Came back to Swtor yesterday after like 1 year and this happens on the 2nd day....

    I am sure google can help convert the time for you @Livefats 🙂

    As @proxos666 said, we are aware of this issue and that it prevent people to log in atm. We are investigating to get you all back into the game as soon as possible. hang in there, folks 🙂

    I use voip myself to call the US from Australia , costs me 3 cents a minute so a 10 - 20 minute call costs me 30 - 60 cents.

  • Take your time EA_Kat, it's best to solve the issue properly than rush a fix. 🙂

    Sorry. @EA_Kat - my reply was to Ashinga who mentioned "two hours" - I was pointing out that at the time of writing it was three, as we are currently on BST.

    @EA_Kat haha I think I have a BH 0.0 just never play on it, Cant remember why I stopped playing it haha

    @xeNizKing should've played it :P I call it now, its all your fault cause you decided to play a Marauder and not a Bounty Hunter 😉

  • I am having the same issues with not receiving validation emails.  I was trying to redeem the posted keys for the expansions and the site prompted me to enter my email address for a verification email.  I have tried several times but never receive the email.  I have also tried two of my alternate email addresses and have not received any verification emails to those addresses either.

    Thinking that maybe I would have better luck with using a security key, I tried downloading the app and when trying to set it up, it again asks for an email to send a verification email before proceeding. 

    So at this point, I am stuck and can't proceed with verification since I never receive the emails.
