Re: [Windows 10] Game crashes on Opening Loading Screen

I gave this a shot, but unfortunately it didn't fix anything. I then decided upon trying something a little more out-of-the-box by just deleting the loading screen that I freeze on all together. This has worked a treat for the past few hours. I will accept your last post as a solution and post again if it decides to revert back to freezing.

Many thanks for your help @proxos666 and I hope you had a happy Star Wars day over in Aus!

  • Really sorry to have to reopen this @proxos666  however after 24 hours, the game has reverted to crashing at the same point of the loading screen as it did before.
    I don't suppose there is anything else that I could be missing here?
    Many thanks!

    @baib5018

    Run a chkdsk over that hard drive in case there is a bad sector

    Can you also generate a new dxdiag too

    @baib5018

    The dxdiag is showing

    Event Name: AppxDeploymentFailureBlue

    open a command prompt as administrator and run sfc/ scannow and see if it finds and fixes all/any errors

    not sure if that is related yet but its all through the dxdiag error reports

    other then that are you able to boot up on a external monitor and see if any change ?

    I thank you again for your continued support @proxos666 - no integrity violations says the sfc /runnow. Unfortunately I am restricted to this single laptop, no external monitors accessable ☹️
