Resetting Imperial Agent Main Quest "Hero of the People"

The best way to reset a mission is to go to the fleet first, then open your mission log and choose reset for the mission.

I have done that and what happens is what I said above.

I might be a bit rusty, but I am rather sure that you always have to defeat Darth Jadus in this quest. There is no way to solve this peacefully.

If you still have issues @TheFreeOne1992 you can send in an in-game ticket and one of the agents can have a look into that. But I believe there is no other way than fighting him.

Hello, I was also wondering if there was any way to reset the quest to any point before the Jadus conversation? I would appreciate it a lot. I am in the same position as the original poster. I unfortunately already minced the conversation and had to fight him... 

EDIT: Would we need someone like a Game Master (GM) to be able to do it specifically... Also I find it odd that when you reset this missing it doesn't restart the whole thing...

Once you are outside a phase, you can reset any quest @Slavvyy. 

Best thing is teleporting to the fleet and then select the quest and reset it. But that will start the whole quest from the beginning.

I'm sorry I misunderstood. However, I seem to have found the cause of concern: The quest I am talking about is part of 4 other quests that branch from a singular first quest...

The aforementioned quest is A New Epoch of Fear: Depending on your dialogue choices at the end of the quest you end up with one of the 4 others. I ended up with Hero of the People. However what me and the original poster would have liked is to restart a A New Epoch of Fear rather than Hero of the People.

I would definitely hope some assistance would be possible...

ah, ok. Now I understand what you mean! Been a while since I played an Agent (Bounty Hunter ftw!).

Sadly, once a quest is complete and the path chosen, you can not go back and chance your mind. Only current quests can be reset and start from the beginning. 

So, if you made one of the choices in A New Epoch of Fear you will have to stick with that as the quest is already completed.

Sadly, there is nothing that can be done here. Once a quest is completed it is completed and the choice is recorded within the system. 

The old Storyline can not be repeated like the chapters in KOTFE and KOTET and there is no rewind on this.

If you really want to experience the other parts, you will have to level up another Agent and choose a different option in the end.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but sometimes choice does matter 🙂
