When you called CS they may have been right, your account may have been hacked , swtor certainly does not delete characters

EA QV TeamI checked your account and characters yesterday and today, just to make sure there wasn't any temporary loading or syncing issues.
What I found was that there are no deleted characters on your account at all. I'm not exactly sure why the game would send you a deleted character mail, I've never even seen that before.
If you remember having more characters, they might be on another account.
