Swtor Jedi Consular Chapter 3 Cutscene With Supreme Chancellor Freezes

Run a game repair

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.

If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.
Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,

select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher

Then lower all gfx settings to low and re-try the cinematic

They 2 are different patch methods , other then that same client, however I myself prefer non streaming, but that is my preference.

More posts are made about bitraider as most now use it as it is the default method for the setup from www.swtor.com/download

the other is default for disk installs , however you can switch per here for the web install

You sir are a life saver, the suggestion you made about lowering the graphics fixed the issue and now the cutscene is working like a charm. Kudos to you! Interesting how the cutscene didn't like my graphics on high.
