Hello fellow gamer's i have a problem regarding Swtor launcher.exe.. For 3 days now it's been all crazy i can open it fine in safe mode with networking but as soon as i restart normally it will not open i have task manager open,.. and i see it trying to launcher but after 5-10 minutes it just randomly closes without any error's, also in my game directory there is no fixlauncher.exe repair tool.

what antivirus is used ?
most recent cause for no launcher was due to popup filter in firefox (when browser was running).
I was using AVG but i thing it was causing some issues so i'm going to get a new antivirus software and i haven't been using firefox, chrome has been a good ally but i might go try firefox see if that help with downloads.
AVG is listed in the known issues sticky, if still applicable
Symptom: No server list or game not launching - with AVG.
Workaround - disable "link scanner surf-shield" before playing.
Hello thanks for the reply and help but to no avail launcher.exe still is not opening i get it to show up in task manager still but after 5 min instant disappearance saddly.
Given it appears ok in safe mode, Take the system to a clean boot per this link does the launcher appear ok at that point ?
If it does follow the directions in the link to narrow down what is causing this
Yes, i can open it in safe mode but the patching won't occur it just says 0% installing downloading for 1 hour before i shut it down last night
take the system to a clean boot mentioned previously (not safe mode) but leave the service called bitraider mini support service stub loader enabled and running

getting an error unable to load the application configuration and i did what you suggested thus far, i'm just not getting it lol. i'm actually thinking to just restore compturter to factory defaults to see if that fixes my problems. I dout it but never know right.
That launcher repair utility I posted at the start may solve the application configuration issue ?
Are you having any other issues apart from the launcher appearing ?
Restoring to factory defaults isnt the best way forward , rather then lose everything , if you want to try a nuke approach then a repair install per links below is best
