SWTOR maintenance error

My SWTOR Username is kimmyg.

When I try to purchase cartel coins or subscribe, the SWTOR webpage gives me a maintenance error talking about high traffic. Any help would be appreciated. 

I tried resetting my password for SWTOR. 

I tried going into incognito mode.

I tried clearing my cache and cookies.

I cannot reset my EA password because the email address used on the EA account linked with my SWTOR one doesn’t exist anymore. 

I’m assuming I’m gonna have to call support in order to resolve that issue? so I can exhaust the last method to fix my main issue?

    Just to clarify the EA account does need a password reset and uses the persona: cruxal25 and has a yahoo email

    Yes call swtor support that account likely needs a password reset to fix the swtor account for purchasing, so see if they can help you update that account.

    @proxos666 Hi there, I'm having the exact same issue... my SWTOR username is Lord_Neon.

    I'm trying to subscribe right now but I'm getting the maintenance issue. I've reset my EA and SWTOR passwords, but I'm still running into roadblocks... any ideas?

    @Neon369 

    The linked EA account likely needs a password reset , if you have never changed the email on the swtor account since making the account then that is the email to use to reset the password.

    use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing

    use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

    Edit - i have flagged this for feedback but the earliest will be this time tomorrow night for support to respond to me

    @proxos666 So I just reset my EA password using the link you sent; then tried logging in on SWTOR.com via Incognito mode. Still the same issue. I'm just gonna recap what I've tried:

    - Reset my SWTOR.com account password
    - Set up my VISA card on my EA account
    - Reset my EA account password
    - Logged into SWTOR.com via Incognito mode.

    Any other ideas?

    @proxos666 OK, thanks. Any point in downloading the game via Steam and trying to purchase a sub there?
