Test Server, Shae Vizla will be opening in the APAC region beginning April 3rd!

Hi, I logged into the APAC test server and completed a GSF match, a Flashpoint, and an Arena match.

• Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Performance seemed fine, but the 328MS ping was really rough
• Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? The arena and flashpoint were not as bad as the GSF match, which was really laggy
• What region/country do you reside in? Canada
• Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla.  Shae Vizla is 328MS, Star Forge is 34MS 
• Is grouped content working properly? Yes
• How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? GSF and Flashpoint were instant pops, Arena took about 15 minutes
• Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? Not that I experienced
• Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? Not that I experienced
• Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? Not that I experienced

This test server has reopened old wounds for me " Remember when your ping was this good? Here it is again" 

• Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Simply put, it hasn't been this SMOOTH since playing on Mastar Dar’Nala back in the day... Abit of "clunkiness" when I played a warzone but that seemed to be the same when I remembered how it was back on Dar'Nala.
• Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened?  Traveled to most planets and nothing out of the ordinary. Just felt a lot smoother and I think that's got to do with latency.
• What region/country do you reside in? Western Australia
• Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla.  Shae Vizla is 42 ms to 77 ms, Satele Shan is 350 ms to high 480 ms
• Is grouped content working properly? Yes
• How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? GSF was about 10 seconds, Flashpoint were instant as I'm a healer, Arena took about 10 minutes.
• Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? Nope. Very smooth
• Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? NGL, I've stopped playing after KotET so all the new interface editor was a learning curve
• Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? None
  
  I'm really excited about this test. Here's hoping that the APAC server comes live very very soon after the end of this test! I know a few of us would gladly come back to this. We're over WoW.

Update (04\05\2023):

GFS, Warzone and Flashpoint done, plus I visited almost every planet.

The only other things I noticed where a long input latency (about half a second), and skipping the cutscenes caused the final animation to look wrong, but I suspect that all is related the higher general latency.

Hi there, for now I have completed a GSF match and reamed arround the galaxy a bit, so here are my findings:

• Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? The performance is fine, I have almost the exactly FPS of the live servers.
• What region/country do you reside in? Europe (Italy).
• Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. I can't share them precisely because the ping UI wast's showing the numerical value, but in the Sae Vizla server I got 1 or 2 bars opposed to the 4 bars in Darth Malgus.
• Is grouped content working properly? No, I queued for a flashpoint and a GFS match at the same time. I got in the GSF match, but the system didn't exclude me from the flashpoint queue, so i got matched with both groups.
  • How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? Arround 10 seconds, as in the live servers.
• Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? Not for the planets I tested.
• Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? Yes, the mission log UI overlapped with the GSF UI. The Join Queue button on the flashpoint portions of the Activities window changes the positions of the numeral elements when clicked.
• Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? Not that I have found.

• Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Stable performance, no noticeable changes compared to the current live servers. 
  • Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? None that I've noticed. Stable 60fps.
• What region/country do you reside in? South East Asia
• Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. My main characters in Star Forge, I average 250ms. In Shae Vizla, I average 135ms which is an improvement.
• Is grouped content working properly? Yes.
  • How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? 8 mins queue on Warzone/Arena PvP, Instant pops on Flashpoint, and 5 mins on Galactic Starfighter.
• Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? No.
• Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? None
• Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? None

• Compared to an existing server, how is the performance?   Seems about the same as Star Forge.
  
• Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened?   Ping Very Hight Everywhere.
• What region/country do you reside in?  South America, Brazil.
• Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla.  90-95 on Star Forge, 330-400 with ocasional Spikes of 700 on Shae Vizla;
• Is grouped content working properly?  Yes.
• How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted?   About the same as Star Forge.
  
• Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered?     No noticeable difference.
• Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality?   The selected UI Profile resets to default every time i login.

Hey there, I copied over Tameelah from Satele Shan, I have completed Vet Flashpoint, War Zone, and GSF.  Reaction times and movement are alot better.

Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Much better everything ran smoother.

Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? No.

What region/country do you reside in? Australia

Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. Satele Shan 325. Shae Vizla: 32

Is grouped content working properly? Yes, reaction speeds are quicker for me due to less lag.

How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? FP instantly, Warzone within 5 minutes, GSF 15 - 20 minutes

Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? No, I traveled to the Jungles on Belsavis (33 ms), Onderon (36 ms) and Mek Sha (38 ms) and reaction time, and movement were much more precise.  I made sure to also have a few fights on each planet and all three responded in a timely manner and with much less lag.

Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? No.

Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? No.

Hello there Preferred Player Here. 

Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? = It's almost much the same on most of the planets and fleet plus when doing WZ, Arena, and GSF I can see it is smooth compared to Star Forge, with no delays on abilities for warzone, arena, and flashpoint but when doing WZ huttball it is still a bit laggy compared to other WZ's. On GSF very smooth across the board usually, when playing GSF I have this delay when shooting and hitting abilities but now there is no delay. Even clicking on the open welcome window goes without any lag or delay. Overall a positive performance for me.

What region/country do you reside in? = I reside in Malaysia (Southeast Asia) It is definitely better than when I played on Star Forge but kinda hoping the ping will consistently be below 100 at most but It stays mostly at 109 to 106 ping. I will show the comparison on Star Forge and Shae Vizla Server here:

Min Star Forge gets 243 to 700 but mostly 243 to 450

On Shae Vizla I get around 106 to 200 for the most part

Is grouped content working properly? = Yep it worked properly and it's pretty much the same as Star Forge when I get into a match and flashpoint.

Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? = Nope feel the same when traveling to planets and also using heroics travel to go to different planets.

Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? = So far so good, nothing major issues with the UI.

Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? = Nope no issues at all for me.

Overall better ping and performance compared to when I played on Star Forge but wish the ping would be below 100, but hey definitely better for me since I lived in Malaysia.

• Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. I have 100-120 ms on Darth Malgus, 120-140 ms on NA servers and 350-450 ms on Shae Vizla
