Unadjusted SWTOR regional prices in Steam
Hello. I kind of already reported similar issue about Command and Conquer Remastered Collection in Steam, but this is another example of management unawareness (possibly incompetence even?).
Yesterday I've seen the news about SWTOR launch in Steam and I was rather happy about it, because I played this game in the past and may have started to play it again via Steam.
But as I opened Steam, I noticed that prices for Subscription plans there are not adjusted for different Steam regions and just use default USD values converted (or even worse - they are +10%-20% higher).
In other situation I would've just shrugged and moved on to play something else, but not in this case.
Why? Because If I open SWTOR main site and try to buy subscription directly, I can pay for 30 day sub only 299 rubles (~4.2$) because EA decided that Ukraine belongs to RU region.
Yet in Steam EA asks 16$ for the same 30 day sub in Ukraine region? How this even makes any sense from any point of view? If there any inconsistency in pricing, it should be fixed. No matter if it will be lowered or raised in the end - it should be consistent.
Now I look at your Steam store prices and see that store managers either don't care about other regions or just ignorant.
