I agree. I also think veteran players (whales/dolphins) have been playing less with lack of content. I suspect the new game mode will trigger better sales with the almost certain packs that will launch with it
It needs to come sooner rather than later. I don't have the metrics that the CG team does, but I've gotten a sense from myself, my guild and the community that the game is bleeding long time players."Atlas1;c-1186273" wrote:

The consistent repetiveness has nearly bled me away. I went from spending tens of thousands to near nothing the last couple of months. From playing daily to barely logging in. I finally gave them another hundred a couple weeks ago, which is tiny in the grand scheme of things, but it was really just to shore up a few toons to keep my ability to pull rank more easily. I'm 95 on my collection score, and I look back and ask myself why didn't I spend that on diving trips and more beer instead? :D :D- I knew the ewok rework was a bad idea. Especially, after the phoenix squad not delivering. Time for some bounty hunters!!
- Really hoping we get some player friendly packs soon (great value for a reasonable price) and that the new event on Hoth is enough to reinvigorate the player base.

Anyone have any info on if we will have such an option, like all former marquee events gave? It would be nice to take them to 4*. They always coincided with the past events and were available right away.
IIRC, during the Galactic War podcast, they said packs would be offered around or after the Wicket event. So, end of the month. Makes me think they'll offer some $100 pack for all ewoks as they're waiting till they're completely released."Atlas1;c-1186262" wrote:

Or purchases with value. For $20 I can buy a used console game. For $20 in SWGOH, I need at least halfway to a 7* toon. More people would spend if the prices were reasonable/drop rates were published.
++1. This guy knows what he's talking about."SnakesOnAPlane;d-122548" wrote:

I'm sure they'll offer those 5 - 330 shard pacts for each Ewok along with some bundle or 2 for $20 to $50... I feel like a $50 bundle is likely, offering all 3 new Ewoks. Maybe even another $100 one offering all 6, knowing EA, make it so you spend for stuff you have just to get stuff you don't... once they're all released that is...
Edit: spelling- Artimus1000Rising RookieCertain Devs spoke of the new ewok store packs that would arrive roughly around the same time of the Wicket Marquee event. Supposedly there will be a new type of pack available for purchase in addition to some of the familiar types with ewoks.

Players' fatigue for sure caused the drop in revenues.
They keep releasing new toons, rework factions, change the meta in a matter of weeks. If I were a whale that spent hundreds on Chaze at the beginning, then spent big on DN, then on Zaul, then Fulcrum, then on Phoenix to get Thrawn, just to see more changes coming in the horizon, I would have quit big time.
In the meantime no new content, no QoL updates that are so da/mn obvious, some long time bugs are still not fixed, some others are that make player spend more time in the game are (Zylo, Zader, Nutini, etc.).
Dev time is mostly focused on creating stuff to make players spend more. Well guess what, players might have become very much tired of this ****.
I mean what on earth were they thinking. No one went to business school in their team?
I think the truth is quite the opposite. Before when the meta was shifting the entire faction was changed. Now you only have to invest in only one toon, add him to the already developed core, and you are set. That if you bother buying that toon at all, this year there are only 4 game changing toons: Chaze, DN, Thrawn. And the Zaul gimmick.
Wiggs and the rest of rebels are still viable even if they are 1 year old for god sake, why would anyone spend more money for lesser or equal results?- PersimiusRising Scout

All of the packs in the store are 19.99 currently. Judging by SWGOH's slide to rank 43 in purchases down from the low 20s, it seems like not many people are buying.
What if, Paploo wasn't offered at $9.99 as usual? What if he was offered at $20 for another shards to 7* him? How many players would buy that? I don't spend, but that would be much more enticing. I bet that would garner much more support and purchases than we currently see. Just a thought.
But there isn't even a $19.99 pack for Paploo! It's just the older Ewoks. Are you seeing something I'm not? I made a post about the $9.99 packs missing here:
https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/122548/9-99-ewok-marquee-event-packs-coming
@SnakesOnAPlane i saw that, which made me remember this idea I had earlier. Surely they'll drop a $9.99 pack. I surprised they haven't yet.
They won't drop the price, those are the Rework Packs, which are always US$19.99. The US$9.99 Marquee Packs are usually released after the last event in the series, so after the Wicket event in this case.
And their revenue isn't sliding, it's holding pretty steady for the last few weeks. It spikes up every now and again for sales and double drops and whatnot, but it's currently holding higher than it was between the DN packs and the May the Fourth stuff.
