Acolyte

I've been rewatching the series these days, and I really miss some of the characters from the show. It's strange that they haven't even made the Stranger, at least not yet. It would be easy to make two full squads. On one side, a Jedi squad with Jedi Padawan Osha Aniseya, Sol, Torbin, Indara, and Kelnacca. On the other side, Mae-ho Aniseya, Mother Aniseya, Mother Koril, and an archer witch, or the alien ancient witch with two others (the power of many), like the Great Mothers of the Nightsisters. Then, as a character of conquest, the Stranger, he'd fit quite well. Or even if I hate the character, Vernestra Rwoh with her lightsaber whip would be fine. Although CG would rather give us Yord Fandar with Jecki Lon and Mog Adana with Bazil (cries).
Jar Jar is so funny, no one can hate him unless you're a droideka or worse.
About Rose... They could have given us her sister Paige Tico (Pae Pae) who was really a crew member of an MG-100 StarFortress SF-17.

The Acolyte characters would have done better than this pirate sh*t. I haven't activated either of the two latest pirates. I find their presence repulsive.

We will get Plageus at some point- and when we do it will be a big deal- maybe as a GL- I would expect multiple semi related characters to come out in the year prior to his release. Swgoh is surely waiting to see what else Disney does with him. I expect we will see Qimir, a younger palpatine and some other characters from his book or future Disney work.

I am okay with a pirate team- I think Talon Karrde would have been a great addition- we weren’t getting red 5 yet - other GL possibilities aren’t based out yet (like plageis$. I think the real travesty was the Jedi they picked during the last era - we should have received Mace’s escort when he went to arrest the chancellor. Deepa and a young Caleb should have been part of a diffferent release.

No, they did the Phantom Menace era because they did Gungans…after most of the Star Wars community quit hating.

They did Gungans because they were doing a Phantom Menace era.

It’s key to note that both Rose Tico and Jar Jar Binks were side characters in their respective projects, Rose Tico isn’t an absolutely necessary member of a team just a req, and they didn’t release Gungans till Ahmed Best started to get applauded rather than showered with boos.

Nah, I think he was pretty well written, Sol too, it’s just unfortunate they were both put in a bad setting

They just cannot be one of those 30 valuable slots, or the game dies. 

The game didn't die when JarJar was brought in and you were forced to relic him. 

The game didn't die when Rose Tico was brought in and you were forced to relic her for the first GL in the game. You were forced to relic Tico or you were helpless in PvP. 

The community howled both times. The game didn't die. 

I get it that you don't want anything from Acolyte, but to pretend that Acolyte characters are more widely hated than Rose Tico or JarJar is just kidding yourself. The game is much bigger than yours or my personal dislikes. 

That's fair enough. He's still an (objectively) bad;y written character that most people are not a fan of, and if he's released as a Marquee - even under a hypothetical model as I suggested above where we get more toons - would prompt player disengagement and backlash, as seen with the pirates. 

Make him stronger, or whatever, but... the only person that should come out of Acolyte as a Marquee or better is Plagueis (who, realistically, should be Journey Guide or Conquest toon level power), and that's not because of fan love of him because of Acolyte lol.
