Did you by chance watch any of the Clone Wars cartoon? A few episodes in particular would change your tune about them working alone.

I know they worked together in some scenarios, and of course I loved TCW, just read my name. However, Obi wan was chilling with Ahsoka a bunch, doesn't mean they should get synergy. Those same bounty hunters that work together probably would be willing to kill one another for the right price
