Nope. I ran it with maxed EP, Vader, 5* Shore, RG and R2 and was able to beat all tiers on my first run. Your AoEs are important. You could easily sub in B2 for R2 or run mostly droids (HK, 88, etc.) with Palp + Vader and either RG or Shore to protect them.
I have maxed Zader, EP, RG, HK, 88, 86.... you'd think any five of those could do the trick.
Why would you want an event that would be so easy you can just take 5 random toons to finish it. Everyone would complain it's too easy.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
This is the only event I've even found interesting to fight. The 10hp but hit for 10k guys are challenging with the constant respawns. You actually have to think a bit compared to everything else you can just auto it and go brain dead.
Why have an event that can only be completed if 5-6 toons?
