Luke's X-Wing. Being a pilot is an incredibly important part of Luke's identity.
Add his X-Wing as a ship for either Commander Luke Skywalker or Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker.
It's a top 3 most iconic ship in the franchise.
It has been a head scratcher from day 1. The fact there is no player A-Wing or B-Wing is also pretty glaring. The absence of several iconic fighters from the game is sad and shows how under developed fleets became. It took almost 10 years to introduce the Executor, we got the Chimera pretty quickly once Rebels was released.
I'd still like them to do something more with ships to make it relevant and fun. It's almost a **bleep** mini-game within the main game with it's own currency and shop and again, CG dropped the ball not developing it further.
I agree we need Luke's X-Wing, but, I think Farmboy should be the crew, he's the one that blew up the death star.
Give him synergy w/ Biggs & Wedge like their Trench Run. And it pushes folks to Relic up Farmboy
