For undergeared and leveled teams, Cad Bane lead is quite good for the credit heist. He has arguably the best evasion leader ability in the game. Just get him leveled high enough so that you can get his leader ability to 6 or 7. Otherwise, as others have said, you really only need Lando to be up to snuff. Having a good tank also helps a lot.
I was able to complete the last tier of the CH with:
It might take you a few tries, but the rng will eventually break your way. I used the same lot for the last tier of the training droid smuggling event and cleared it pretty easily. Bottomline, there's no need to make a huge investment in scoundrels if all you want to do is clear the credit heist and the droid smuggling events. Note that T3 of the crit chance mod challenge is a different animal and is more difficult to 3* with an undergeared squad than the two aforementioned events.
