Kicking for something like that seems rather petty unless it wasn't a first offense.
Might want to check out the Guild Recruitment discord. They have channels for all GP levels -> https://discord.gg/fkdkMxVB
SOMETIMES, it's easier to KICK. Rather than get involved in a TOXIC CONVERSATION.
Right now, guild recruitment is pretty easy. If a player can't abide by the rules, it's easier to just kick move on, rather than interact with THE OFFENDER and waste time and get involved in unnecessary ARGUMENTS.
Most of the times it's better to not join toxic POS guilds like your guild as example. It's very easy to find a decent to good guild with leaders and officers that don't Believe they are the best of the best and treat people like trash.
As example you kick users and hide, like cowards do.
Fortunately, from the time i played i never entered on a guild with Your mentality.
You have no evidence as to what I am like. You're simply making it up to suit your rhetoric.
I don't like being a guild officer, and do not want to be one. I don't want the power, I don't want the extra work. However, in smaller, casual guilds there sometimes isn't a choice to keep a guild going. I also feel I'm more knowledgeable than most.
In the smaller guilds there's a plethora of Mol Elizas joining who do not want to be over managed. This is the other side of the coin. The type of players that join guilds for example because discord isn't mandatory.
For these type of players, that talk little or zero. We...I.......would post rules, and guidelines of what needs to be done. I expect TW instructions to be read. I expect chat headers to be read. I expect the joining billboard to be read. If those rules are broken, yeah and if I haven't had any communication with the player already, I'd probably just kick. Call it being a coward if you like.
I really think a lot of you don't know what it's like in the more casual guilds, sometimes it's like trying to get blood out of a stone. Whatever, don't state what I'm like as a guild officer when you've not been in a guild run by me. Generally for those dedicated, follow directions and do chat.........I've had positive feedback.
