Can Someone Explain This "Sandbox" Mode You Seem To Want So Much?

So, you want to be able to try out your characters vs others without using energy, right? So, how would this work? You face random teams like in gw? Well that wouldn't really help with the theoryc...

Even just having an exact replica of squad arena for practicing with no limits on the amount if battles would better than nothing. No rewards, no cost, just somewhere to play squads close to your best squad.
