- KDC99-XRising RookieI’m on track for gold crate, which was my goal. Between that, buying all the shards from merchant nodes, and the $10 pass reward track, I should have Fury class by the first conquest in the next cycle. The only two global feats I’m completing on this run are NS/500 kills, but I’ve gotten (or will by the end of the event) almost all the sector feats. So yeah, very doable with a decent mid game roster as long as you have the right toons and disks. (Malak/VV being a key combo for feats like momentum/purge, since my Tuskens and Inquisitors are are fairly underdeveloped).
But personally I do wish that they eased up on just one of the global feats that require the newer toons. The thing I’m finding frustrating, as a player still trying to work on “catching up” on other key toons/teams that are a bit older (GAS, JKL, more GLs), is that right now there’s SO many things to work on, and all of them seem super important, so it’s hard to know where to focus. Do I pause working on 501st or chasing another GL to work on Tuskens?/etc. On the one hand I love that there’s a lot of options for players to develop their rosters along different vectors — allows for more roster variation ergo more diversity in PvP matchups. On the other I just wish that the new stuff was just slightly less gated by those new options, so we can have a little more flexibility in what we’re focusing on."herd_nerfer;c-2417704" wrote:

I would agree with you if that actually prevented completion of the feats, but as it stands now that doesn't seem to be the case for myself or the people that I've talked to who are targeting red crate. If you have a smaller roster then I can see it being an issue, but lots of feats are going to be tough with a smaller roster. - CG will always try to monetize new things
- KDC99-XRising RookieMy GG Nute squad smoked GL Rey first try. No relics on B2 or Nute, but GG is R7. I don’t think she even took more than one turn.

Plenty of other things, but the TM pre-load is lazy coding to make content more "challenging" because they don't want to come up with more creative ways to add challenge to conquest.
The ridiculously stupid Rey team as the final boss is right up there too though.

Yep, I got through it eventually, but my Galactic Legends got slaughtered by that Rey with no zetas who was taking 3, 4, 5, and 6 turns everytime she went. especially after she was alone. - KDC99-XRising RookieOf course, but does that mean I have to agree with how they go about it?
Personally, I already spend money on plenty of other things that aren’t the “new content” in terms of characters (kyros, relic mats, gear, conquest pass, crystals, omicrons, etc) — I would guess there are plenty others like me. Yeah, I was wrong about the difficulty of this one. I still have three global feats left (NS, Booming Voice, Massively Overpowered) and two of them are nearly done (NS = 34/40, BV = 53/60). I can finish up NS late Wed/early thurs. I'll finish up BV in a half hour when I get my changeover and can buy more energy. It's at most 2 battles.

All the more reason to make those nodes simmable. No progress on feats, but no sitting around while your game autos a battle.
In fact, that's what makes it so annoying: it's not like once I'm done with feats I'm going to enter the battle with a squad that has any chance to lose. They're trying to wear you out with boredom, which is, again, the opposite of fun.
There is literally no reason for those nodes not to be simmable from day one. People will still fight the battles there for the feat progress, but whenever you feel like you're done with feats, just start spending the sim tickets. Right now CG is making us hate Conquest (even more?) for no reason at all. There's no game balance reason. There's no coding reason. They just decided that they want their players to be bored and frustrated.

I got red crate. If I was able to sim battles, i would probably spend crystals on conquest energy refreshes to farm dc stuff. But consider how fun it is to press auto and wait 18 times a day (6 battles per refresh), i stopped doing that a few conquests ago. - Just finished red crate. I was pessimistic on this one when I first saw the feats (as I often am when I first see the feats for a new conquest) but it ended up being very manageable. CG threw us a few softballs on this one - not the least of which was the TD combo disks. I was sure that would never come back.
I did spend more energy on disk swaps this time than I probably ever have. I didn't like that - but apparently it didn't slow me down too much. Overall it was fun.

I would not mind auto these battles if they would fix the silly "phone goes to sleep in the middle of it" thing.
