"Appealing your ban does not mean you will be unbanned. You will not be informed on any decision we make."

If you are unbanned, would it not make sense to tell the player they have been unbanned? I mean, it would be nice to know.
What's the alternative? Trying to log into the game for days/weeks and hoping each time?
