Chirrut+Baze are not OP, however one ability mechanic needs to change for Baze...
I was battling a Wiggs + Chibaze combo with my Empire team which had B2.
In my playing experience, I don't mind the challenge ChiBaze presents. My win/lose ratio is quite good indicating Chibaze is not overly OP.
However, there is a scenario against Chibaze where the game mechanic gets it stupid and favours Baze ability 'For Jedha'. Baze taunts automatically whenever Chirrut health goes below 100%. The problem arises when Chirrut has lost all his protection, he loses a bit of HP, triggering Baze to auto-taunt. If Chirrut has HoT, then 'Resolute Endurance' ensures Chirrut gets 4% Heal returning him to 100% health on next turn.
Using B2 'Mow Down' to dispel clear Baze taunt will in fact bring Chirrut below 100% and trigger Baze to taunt again. Obviously allowing a buff to automatically apply after a successful attempt to dispel it, to me is a broken game mechanic. This ping pong effect isn't needed.
I would like to see 'For Jedha' auto taunt triggered when Chirrut health goes below 50%. I know that a similar scenario can also occur. But at least the auto taunt is consistent with RG auto-taunt, and/or how FOTP Advantage is triggered. An alternative, would be to have B2 'Mow Down" apply buff immunity for every successful dispel.
A similar case can be said about General Kenobi 'Soresu' where a dispel can do crit dmg - reapplying the buff that was dispelled. But that's not one I've crossed just yet.
