Clone Sergeant Question

How critical is Clone Sergeant to running a clone team? I only have Fives at 7* G10, but I have the all the shards for Echo, Rex, and Cody to be 7*.

Problem is of course that it takes fudging forever to farm CS. I'm just starting him basically and it will take like a year. Is there anyone else that can slide in that spot? Baze? B2? GK?

Can't decide if I wanna go The Clone route or the Resistance route.

    Sarge is very critical in a clone team. He is a heavy hitter.

    I don't have GK but I imagine he can slide in easily.

    Clone sergeant hits hard and gains massive TM on a clone team. He is useful in both raids and has a ship that benefits from a Republic ship line-up.

    Damn. Ok. Blah I asked. Guess I'm shelving Clones for 8 months until I farm CS. Ha

    @BravoMaxi try supplementing the farming with bronziums. I got him much faster this way. I Would unlock him about 3 times per 100k ally points.

    Just think of it this way, once you have actually have CS (in about a decade), you'll be able to decimate the tank in pretty much every phase.
