Constructive feedback on new GC

Also, the idea of Contraband ability was a nice change of pace and cleverly executed. Would be a great boss battle for Conquest with Starships.

I liked the event, I had to do it a couple of times with my 7* negotiator for the undersized feat, because my bounty hunters don't hit hard enough to get the kills. The first time I didn't realise that the contraband target couldn't die, after that I got my timing better

I thought it was a quality troll on the missing buttons bug.

I mean yes, this is good idea. But this really didn't need a dev post to clarify it. It's like all the people who posted about this on Reddit have got 0 problem solving/troubleshooting and 0 literacy skills. Why wouldn't you take a quick glance at the modifiers? Even though it wasn't explicitly stated exactly how Contraband would apply, you still know that one of your ships must be targeted at the start of battle.

Did none of the posters even hold click on the giant new blue button to see what it did?

Kinda worked it out myself instantly. I mean, there was a new symbol that was larger than everything else. It was crying out to be pressed. Even if was just lore. Maybe I’m just one of those “I wonder what that button does” people.

I didn't read the modifiers first, but I did press the big button that I hadn't seen before

Yeah, if I didn't happen to check out the modifiers, I would have tapped and held too.

However...I agree it isn't enough. OP is right, there's already a system in place for things like this.

Wait, what? You failed at least once? Am I understanding that correctly? Or you just did it once with a full squad and had to do it once more to get undersized, but you never lost?

I'm confused, because it sure sounds like you lost a battle or two and I don't know how that's even possible with Exec.
