DCs create a new challenge. You either invest in them and try to give yourself an advantage or you don’t. I don’t like the system with the randomness but I can live with it. I’m not a hardcore PvP player but I hover around Kyber 2.
I disagree. Datacrons aren't an investment as they are temporary, added to the game with the sole purpose to make quick money without any thought to the imbalance they create.
I would accept Datacrons if they only contained stats that would give the players who would spend money on them a decent advantage.
There are so many cases where Datacrons have specific abilities that couples with Galactic Legends and several omicrons that make some teams just unbeatable, SLKR for an example.
