Defeat 50 pirates with any Ezra.

How are we supposed to this anniversary quest?  Pirates are a new faction and not on any LS or Cantina nodes to fight.  They dont show up in GW.  I guess I can try squad arena battles, but for new accounts, like my son's, which is what I thought these quests were designed for, they are unable to find any to fight.
