Agreed that something should be done, not sold on the method exactly, but matchmaking is nonsense rn. Not sure why the other's on this thread are defending an obviously suboptimal system lol. Fear of change? Lack of imagination?
Not sure anyone is defending the system in its entirety, but most of the suggestions in this (and hundreds of other) thread(s) are either clearly flawed or a return to what we used to have which is definitely worse than what we have now.
I do agree something should be done about small accounts who have just unlocked GAC facing huge accounts that sporadically bother to participate in GAC. But I don’t agree with any suggestion to return to GP based matchmaking or considering # of GLs or anything like that.
If solving one issue returns us to where we were, they shouldn’t bother solving it.
