Double drops not so much

Picked up quite a few shards today. I know it's frustrating when you get 0s and the easy thing to do is to complain but it is all rng. Sometimes I some 7 battles and get 8 shards other times I get 2 or 0. As always my character shard drops average at about 30%, nothing had changed with double drops.
