Except this has nothing to do with the other topic, the other topic is an issue because 2 people get completely diffrent offer for the same price. Even without the pop up you would still see tbat the pack is available when you go to sim the battles for the shards
If we are all equal shouldn't we all get the same pop-ups?..... Maybe some people would be upset if they didn't get the pop ups that other people got and ended up not knowing about the pack?....
Can you imagine the outrage when one player in a guild bought the jabba starter pack and started doing great in the raid before others because they got a head start?
Did you get the pop ups like everyone else though?.... It wouldn't be equal if you didn't....
I think you're missing the point. We have 2 shops (one in-game and one in a web site) that we have to check every day for freebies. People will see the packs lots of times a day. Why the need for a third source of advertisements, pop-ups? Are pop-ups really more effective than 2 shops, to justify interrupting the player every time they move?
I don't get pop-ups in the webstore and the freebies are always in the top left corner... I couldn't tell you what else is in there to be honest with you, I haven't looked...
As for the shop in-game, The only freebies I ever see in there are the bronziums and the monthly calendars when they are available... I never bother scrolling through all of the other stuff...
I haven't bought any of the stuff from the pop-ups but if I was someone looking to rush a GL or close to getting a GL maybe I would be interested...
Then again, If you were interested in spending to rush a gl you would probably be inclined to scroll in the store and not solely rely on whatever pop up appears on the screen
That's a fair point.... Luckily I don't have to, because pop-ups :)
And, maybe if I wasn't thinking of doing it before, I would start to think about it because of the pop-ups....
Maybe, or maybe you though about spending but the constant pop ups annoyed you to the point where you play a different game. Its a balancing act I guess :)
Not the biggest issue on my plate, but would be nice with some smartness in them so you don't get the pop ups for starter packs that you 7*ed years ago.
