hmm. uninstall/reinstall maybe? is he on wifi? maybe try starting on data instead? I've gotten that error many times but it's usually when the phone is going from wifi to cellular or vice versa. it's an awful code but never had it just keep happening right away

It used to be that I could walk the dog around the block and the game would just switch from wifi to cell and back just fine, but (a few, maybe more) months ago it started giving errors and restart code. Not good for the game imo

He has tried going just cellular by turning off wifi and that didn't work. He's said he'd try offloading because he's had to restart before due to deleting completely.

Better make sure he has his account linked and/or his player ID written down before deleting the game.
