in my group there is a 4.1m GP and 4.5m GP where the rest is 4.8-5m. Charachter GP close to 2.5 for the 4.1m and 2.7 for the 4.5m where all rest is high 2.8 up to 3m.
So while the 4.5m GP account is still reasonable close to most in terms of character GP the 4.1m GP account isnt (500k difference with the highest char GP)
It certainly looks like something went wrong in matchmaking
