When is CG going to fix matchmaking? It was actually working until they added back in 3v3. 3v3 completely ruined their matchmaking. People just tank during 3v3 and you get stuck facing people millions more gp and twice as many GLs. 3v3 and 5v5 NEED separate rankings and matchmaking. This absolutely needs to be fixed. I don't care if you think it's working as intended, it's not and needs to be addressed

I agree on it needs to be fixed. I disagree on it was fine till 3v3 came. The fact that someone can drop until carb 5 down just because they are half active with his 8 m roster and then get matched with fresh 85 level accounts is mind blowing for me.

alot of people hate it (matchmaking in general not talking about 3vs3). and the oppisate is true just because YOU like it doesnt mean alot of people dont or that it IS popular. goes both ways. matchmaking by far isnt Fair. when im aurorium 1 and facing on opp with Every GL in the game thats wildly unfair and not right.

What do you consider fair and right? Always similar GP match ups? There are players who can easily beat others with similar GPs, because they have superior tactics, mods and datacrons. They want to beat players with better roster, more GLs and more GP than them. And you don't want to allow them to do that. Why is this fair and right?

my enemy has Full relicked squads in defence. He also has relicked offense lined up to beat me up. Like, i am talking about this guy has Relic 7s. I dont even have 7 relicked character. Do you consider this "fair"?

You can face the same situation with GP matchmaking, just the opposite way. In the old days of GP matchmaking, people like me with a very focused roster are frequently matched with players with bloated rosters. It was very easy to beat them, because all my GAC relevant characters are reliced, while theirs are not. So, you see, GP-based matchmaking is not the answer to your question.

It would be nice to have a way to keep falling big accounts from ruining the experience of fresh accounts. There have been many suggestions here on the forums: some good, some bad. CG hasn't said a word, as far as I know. No clue if they even consider it a problem worthy of addressing :(

SWGOH.GG data shows 420,000 battles in season 33 (3v3) ... at 15 squads per person, that's 28,000 people engaging fully with GAC in 3v3. Season 32 (5v5) there were 340,000 (at 11 squads per person, that's 31,000 people fully engaging with GAC in 5v5.

So either 10% of top players dropped the game in the last 2 months, or there's 10% lower engagement/interest/enjoyment in 3v3 than 5v5.
