I'm confused. You say identical gp (I assume the top 80 bc it's almost identical) but would never fase each other? why not? Doesn't the mm say that you WOULD be matched?

I, for one, would love to see your roster "smack around" his 3 gl's in gac tho lol

Given the difference between his and your GAC win percentage I'm pretty sure we can know who has a better GAC roster without you two ever being matched.

The system rewards players that build characters and teams that are strong in "PvP" battles. Players with stronger "PvP" rosters have higher chance of success. How is that a flaw? It's one of the strengths of the system. Just imagine if all players had equal chance to reach Kyber whether they built a strong roster or not. Where would the challenge be? Where would the fun be?

I hope you have fun playing and building your R7 NS and R5 BH teams. I really do. Just don't expect them to perform as well as GLs in GAC.

As you slay dragons it shows you have very, very solid tactical skills. But you had to be this good in battle because your general made questionable calls, like spending all his budget to build the Retirement Home for Old Witches instead of funding the Resistance.

It's really more of the level they are at. Some people take every relic character up to R7. The R5+ ones have a big impact on the top 80 GP.

Your character roster is very top-heavy, stacked with highly relic'd characters. You have a GL to show for it, which is better than most rosters I see with your complaint, but all that extra GP is likely to draw you some rather tough GAC opponents and I don't think Sith Eternal Emperor is really the best GL for that setup.

To top things off, you also have a lot of high powered fighters but you have neither Negotiator nor Malevolence, putting you at a serious disadvantage at this level of play.

You should never get punished for gearing up chars. Gp has like nothing to do in matchmaking.

We were told repeatedly that matchmaking is based on GP as an indicator of investment. But unfortunately and inappropriately they do not measure total investment.

I am close to my 3rd GL, have 76 relics and I am also matched against rosters with 300k to 700k more GP. Not top heavy. This whole top 80 approach doesn’t take into account that my opponents have more toons to choose from.
