Does anyone else think GAC is ruined by swgoh gods? I am so tired of players 2 million+ less gp than I always winning. Reason, their GLs and few other toons do what they are suppose to do (unlike my same toons that are higher relic, speed, etc). For instance, my Leia, Dragon, R2 did not repeatedly hit. But my opponents sure does R9 Gls faster than their Rey team, did very little damage and only got in couple of hits before they were completely wiped out by Rey. Like most events, swgoh have ruined this game. I have already quit several events since swgoh gods think it is funny to let underdogs win. I am about to quit this event. I just got back in a guild cause I quit TW, since swgoh gods matchmaking sucks. About to quit playing GAC or lose so I can get to bottom tier and purposely defeat opponent in hops they get frustrated with this game and quit.

It sounds like your characters are poorly modded and you're lacking core game mechanic understanding (i.e. reading the kits of characters). GI will never beat Rey, regardless of relic levels. You're going up against people with smaller rosters because they perform as well, or better, than you. Skill and strategy actually matters, not just GP and relic levels. It's very possible for smaller accounts to punch up, especially when their opponents don't mod correctly or place teams on defense that are better offensively. Use swgoh.gg for GAC counters or to scout your opponents. What you're missing is game knowledge, not gear or relics.

What ruined the game was the datacrons

Hi Mike-You typed out a post - so it feels like you do care about this game and enjoy at least some parts of it. Most of the GAC complaints in here are arguing the other side- they are matched against opponents 2+ mil higher. Without and account links my first assumption would be that there is a discrepancy with mods or datacrons. My account is not highly tuned and I notice it when some counters fall flat.The datacrons make a huge difference so it could be helpful to watch current GAC vids to see what is working against them.The beauty of GAC is that no matter our skill level or mods - we will eventually sink to (or rise to) equilibrium - and then most of matches will be coin flips.The important part is to keep playing and qualifying for those crystal rewards.What turned you off TW? Datacrons? Omicrons? Guild participation? It is national to prefer some game modes over others- but your account really wants you to play them all to keep grinding those mats.I recommend reading a good Star Wars book or researching a movie (or the rebels season 2 finale) to get you back into that sweet Star Wars groove- this game is just the gravy on top of that.

GI vs ReySkill issue detected. The whole point of Reva is that you have to kill her 3 times and Rey's Sudden Whirlwind prevents revives, so no triple Reva. Inquisitors vs Rey is not a good counter. Leia couldn't hit... Were you perhaps attacking a team with the smuggler evasion datacron?Post your ally code mate, then we can look at your GAC history and give better advice.

It sounds like you need to read kits more carefully. Get into swgoh YouTube, (Songeta is the goat of that) start learning about your toons. Get help on mods, use datacrons, make sure you are properly synergizing. If you give us your ally code we can help out.

I just decided not to buy the Aphra bundle. This game is really well-designed to make you feel like your roster hit a wall and is going nowhere, and spending some $ like on a $50 bundle is going to move the needle. All of these posts about unfairness causing losing are basically purposeful instances of the developers doing this. The developers know full-well that 9 GL 12 million GP accounts moving to Aurodium and Chromium is basically the Southpark episode of the steroidal male bodybuilder calling himself trans and competing in all of the women's sports. Or even more of an apt comparison would be Stephen Curry taking a season off from the NBA to go play high school basketball.
Why does CG allow these things? They foster frustration within the gamer and they know there are only 3 ways to deal with jt:
eat your frustration and enjoy what you can out of the game.
quit playing
pay-up $ to improve your roster until you hit another wall, in which case it's more $ needed or
eat your frustration and enjoy.....
quit....
pay-up $... cycle continues.
The most recent game update was designed to answer the question: how can we get more players to hit walls and get them to be frustrated into paying $ more?
