One thing they could do is to stop the randomness of rotation of gear in stores. Either always have all the different gear available in stores or have the rotation at a given interval so you know that “gear Z” is always available in “store X” at Y o’clock.
That's not how they keep you logging in.
It would be if the main gear crunch pieces shared that spot and rotated each time.
They probably never realized that!
