GET3 Purchases in the GET Store
Previously when GET2 was added to the GET store the separate currencies' available purchases were strictly segregated: first GET2 items, then GET1 items.
With the addition of GET3 the store now bounces back and forth between GET3 and GET2. The first 3 rows of purchases follow this pattern:
Three Three. Two
Two. Three Three
Three Two Two
Can you please do a couple things for your players?
1: Change the color or add animation to the GET3 logo. It doesn't; even need to change ALL the colours. I was thinking more like making that shaded bronze in the "grooves" could be red in GET 3 where it's more a dull copper or aged brass in the current GET logos. I recognize the shapes are pretty different, but they still look too much alike by replicating the exact colour scheme.
2. Line up the purchase options so that it's ENTIRELY GET 3 for the first 5 slots, then ENTIRELY GET2 for the next number of consecutive slots.
3. Consider adding one more purchase option to make it easy for folks with the top 2 rows being entirely GET 3 and the GET 2 options starting on a separate row. A second slot of Kyros is an easy way to do this since what will limit our purchase of Kyros isn't the number of slots assigned, but the total amount of GET3 we have available. It seems like a waste of screen space, but honestly it is just much easier for your players.
I play this game a lot and I will eventually get used to wherever these things are placed, but honestly this is needlessly confusing to get used to during the transition process for everyday players and just bad for players that are more casual and aren't checking the stores 4 times a day every day.
This is just clumsy UI design that is bad for players. It's so easy to make things more friendly for your players, and while I know some people will always complain here about everything, most people who play the game just motor on without ever making a comment or hope of change. They just play as long as they're having fun and give up when they're not rather than coming here to try to offer constructive feedback. I doubt you'll lose a single player over this one bit of design on its own, but the current kludge can only increase frustration. But lots of small frustrations can, over time, drive people away from the game. This source of frustration is so easy to fix, why not do it and make things a little more friendly for the people who are marginally committed to the game whom you might lose if the game continues to collect kludge, but might stay as long as the game remains easy and intuitive for the casual player.
Yes, it also makes things much better for me b/c this kind of thing drives me a bit nuts, but since I'm unlikely to quit, I know there's no real incentive for you to fix this for me or players like me. But if you do fix it, in addition to some marginal players hanging on a little longer, you'll definitely earn some goodwill with players like me.
