Has anyone got 7 star Thrawn without having Hera. Would rather just get Chopper than spend the cantina energy on her. If you did please give me a note on the gear levels and abilities on your squadThanks.

I've not heard of anyone doing it without her. She's the only leader Phoenix has and her leader ability allows the rest to share unique with each other. For example Kanan has a unique counter , but if they all have it too, then all 5 can counter AoE attacks. Without Hera only he would counter.

I highly doubt anyone did without her. You need her to share uniques.

From the sounds of it, you might've farmed Ezra from cantina node. Why would you do that? He is in guild shipments. Get all his shards from the shipments while you farm Hera, who is exclusive to cantina nodes. The same should go for any exclusive toon in cantina. Farm them before the ones that aren't exclusive. It pays off in the long run.

farming ezra from cantina nodes is the way to go imo. Sure, you can also farm him from the fleet store (not the guild store), but i wouldn't. It's a cheap node, doesn't take that long and i would rather farm zeta's than ezra shards in the fleetstore.
full disclosure, i farmed ezra from cantina nodes, fleet store and shard shop, but that was just because of the limited time i had before the event ended.

Why waste fleet coin? Zeta are way to valuable. You cannot buy zeta with crytal. Bad advice.

I'm on the same boat with u.. never heard anyone do it, if it's success i think i'll be the first one. I don't wanna spend my cantina energy to bad chars, and i already lose patience bcause the drop rate. I stop on Hera, i decided to go with chopper.

All g9, equip with my arena mod should be fine.

My only wish is Phoenix squad done just for Thrawn. Plz don't make them available in other area, like TB, or something. :expressionless:

Let me know how it goes with your non Hera team. I'm almost done with chopper and Ezra. I'm gonna finish both of them and start on Hera when Ezra is done.

Will try to open 7 star Thrawn without Hera, but will gear her anyway. Then will use her if I have to. Just to see if I can do it without her and everyone else at G9 or G8. Probably won't happen but fun to try.

As for the fleet tokens. Rather use those to finish some ships and zetas. Thanks for the thought though Cm3Po.

You may be in for a rude shock. Having completed it already, I'd say I'd rather have all gear 8s with all characters having 4 uniques + all the other bonuses from Hera lead instead of having all toons at gear 10, and no Hera lead.

Phoenix with no Hera is a car with no engine.

Developer said that event is balanced around her leader ability so I doubt if it's possible.

My Phoenix Toons are glvl 8 all. Could take key players to 9, but don't want to spend. The mods aren't great, just leftovers. If this doesn't work I will move my arena mods to them.

Dumb move? I played arena for two days using Biggs as leader, instead of Wedge. I just didn't look carefully :)

The drop rate on hera not so bad, youll be done before you know it. Will use up sim tickets though.

Hera is a must to complete the event for 7* Thrawn. The last time the event ran, chopper was an event toon and the other 5 were required at 7 to unlock the last tier.

That wad the flash event not the actuall thrawn event.
