Give a chance to other tags

I am start thinking - does new players really have a choice what to farm? I mean if I need to give a advice I would say - farm scoundrels for CH -> STHan and Lando are both scoundrels and rebels so farm it -> farm another rebels for EP... etc. And then we are wondering why arena is full of rebels. I am level 85 and still not activated HK47 just because didn't have time and droids are not used in important events. And who actually cares about Asaj rework?
That's why I think it will be much better if players are able to participate in ALL events with alternative teams - for example CH - scoundrels OR nightsisters, EP - rebels OR jedi. I don't mean mixed teams - just rebels OR just jedi. Of course some of them need reworks, but I think just rework will not make them viable - we need other tags to become useful.

Agreed. All you really need is a maxed Rebel and Scoundrel team to be incredibly well off. Granted, certain events benefit from swapping in 1-2 oddball characters but generally those 2 tags are all that's needed to run most events.
Rebels have the most bloated roster which includes some of the most powerful toons, and with Rogue One coming out I don't see the inflation slowing down anytime soon. Personally, I think that the Rebel characters are boring AF which in turn is making Galaxy of Rebels a boring AF game.
The top 25 of my arena is literally all the exact same team- Rebels with Palp. I use none of those and have managed #1, but only for a few hours. The devs certainly aren't encouraging diversity. With the Rebel Alliance being bigger and badder than any other faction in this game, you'd think that they were the bad guys in the Star Wars universe.

They just added all old chromium only toons to fleet shipments... How is that not allowing diversity? Also added 8 new characters for rogue one... 4 of which were given enough shards to activate(and more) for free. Sounds to me like they're throwing in more options.

With zeta, you're about to see your arena littered with empire teams Vader lead. Diversity is there. People just don't have the credits to make it happen instantly.

Yes, you are right, but just for Arena. They put in Fleet Shipments all clones and where you can use it (except Arena) - just in Assault Battles: Military Might and there you can also use Rebels. My idea is just to add diversity in events, because whatever they add in Fleet shipments you still need Scoundrels for CH, Rebels for EP etc.

I see what you mean. I dont think the events should be broadened. Maybe just add new events. I think we'll see a new one after ep8 trailers start coming out (first order or resistance)

    ^This
Zetas are a game changer making scoundrel and jedi teams viable while making full empire teams scary as all get out.
