How about this.... a player sets an absolute FU defence. Both revans, GG, padme, etc, etc. Their best 8 teams straight onto defence. Then waits. If u full clear, they lose. If u don’t, they know exactly how many banners they need with whatever offence they have left. Their whole strategy revolves around hitting second. I’m not saying it’s an unfair strategy, it’s quite good, actually. The only thing I was asking originally is why not make the starting times fair for everyone?
You need 62 points in a battle, can you please explain how knowing this makes getting those points easier in battle?
The game is world wide, there is no time that works for everyone.

That's why rotating times were suggested? There's 4 GA in one GAC, therefore it could be set on a 6 hours rotation.

The best argument to support this is pressure. Knowing your opponent final score before attacking gives you great insight on which teams may be hiding behind the front lines. It then allows you to make better decisions on which teams to use in the front line.
Just like in sports. If you know your opponent final score, you might use more aggressive techniques to overcome the challenge. It can play both ways, but generally advantages the one playing last.
The change that is suggested is modest and fair and the matter is legitimate. Why not doing it?
It's no surprise though that most of the players who have their GA start and end in the day will not agree on rotating these times around the clock. We all know fairness isn't part of the competition. It's always about selfishness...
