Guild question

My guild has an issue with a few players that don't adhere to the raid rules (zero damage for the first 24 hours.). The concept that they might not be able to see the chat due to the age restriction came up and I was wondering if this was an issue for other guilds and if so, how you dealt with hit. The only options I can see is kicking them out as it's putting our other players at a disadvantage. They aren't doing huge damage at the moment, but between them they clear P1 and it's only going to get worse. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Kick them to the curb!

    +1
Unfortunately, that is the only solution...
  • You have 2 options. Relax and tell everybody else they are F2P at any point.

Or you will have to remove every player that does not respond, and try a guild recruiting post on forums in Guilds.

Either way it is just something that we in Guilds have to deal with, but you are correct. Some minor players, players in social media restricted countries cannot read the feed.

Other players can see the feed but cannot type or read our language.

Thankfully it's only 3-4 people, so the loss wouldn't be huge, but they are daily players who donate gear, get their 600, etc. I hate to boot them without any kind of explanation. I wish there was a way to message them.

Get everyone in the guild on discord or line chat

But how would they know that we are moving to a different messaging app?

Put the rules in the guild description.

I did make that change after we ran in the issue, but I don't think that will help me notify these guys. Thanks though!
  • We face the same issue in my guild every time we get close to Tier Change with a couple players, but I don't have the heart too boot them. Just like you I feel it is not their fault and think how would I feel?.

How I deal with it is too explain too my guild why it is important to get their hits in asap and let them know why I don't have raid restrictions based on that very issue.
  • Before this gets lost too time. If your looking this up. People in fact cannot always read the Guild Description either.

Just making that clear. Those that cannot see a guild feed also see a blank guild description.
  • We had the same issue. Your only choice is to boot them if they are unresponsive and continue to break the rules. If you don't, then other guild members get jelly and start attacking too, and before you know it there are no rules and it's a FFA.

It's unfortunate that not everyone can let it go, because really who cares if they did 5k damage before it was time? That's probably all the damage they can do period and they just wanted to get it out of the way. Their attack makes no difference, everybody just relax. But no, people get knots in their knickers and figure they can do as they please since the other guy did too. And then everything falls apart.

    You have to boot them.
