GW Tokens

It seems that my post was removed from the General Discussion page, despite having a fairly good discussion taking place, so thanks for that. Coulda moved it here instead without making me rewrite all of this. Just sayin' :)

ON TOPIC

With the recent announcement that Tournaments are officially done for the foreseeable future and the removal of the AP packs forthcoming, obviously many of us took advantage of them with their intended purpose: to gain the currency needed to compete in tournaments and gain new characters at a base or advanced Star level.

This obviously required a sacrifice of Character or Ship Shards...and only after a significant investment in further AP when it became apparent that there were no more tourneys coming, even before the unofficial word and then the official one, there was plenty of time to rack up and hold a decent savings of them. I myself hold just short of a hundred thousand, and I'm aware of several guildies with much more than that.

So the request is for one of two things:

Is it feasible for either an AP to GW token currency exchange so that we can make up for lost time on Ships or Characters, or some kind of general Thanks For Playing GW token gift?

Yes...I made the choice to spend on AP, but let's be honest. Ya'll kind of made it necessary to do so in order to be competitive, right? You wouldn't have created a pack for it in the first place if the intention wasn't for players to need it.

So in the same Vein that there were GW tokens to buy AP...please, I request an AP pack in GW to buy that currency back.

Thanks in advance for any consideration and hopefully commentary on this. Even a "we'll consider it" would be fantastic.
