Yes, EP's lead gives Empire allies +32% potency which really benefits TFP. The best squad is:

EP (L)
TFP
Sun Fac
ST Han
Shoretrooper

Since many people such as myself don't have a 7* Shoretrooper, Royal Gaurd or Boba Fett is a good alternative.

Who could sub in for tfp in the interim if he is only 4* as you farm him?

I dont have Chirpa but Guild Mates do much better with Chirpatine than I do with Tiebootine. I also lack a second decent taunter but I can do about 5% in Heroic with Teebo(L), TFP, EP, Phasma, STH

I don't have chirpa either. And I'd agree that Phasma is a good fill-in. She also works in P4.

3cheers4tyranny gave good recommendations, although you can't use St Han in both P3 and P4 for heroic raids. There are other squad compositions that also do well. I consider anything over 2% in a phase as gravy. Over 4% is just fantastic. I have some guild mates that can hit 7-10% in P1, which is just stellar. Here is what I use:

Yoda (L), Qui-Gon, Luminara, Ahsoka, Ima-Gun Di. Load them with tenacity crosses and secondaries. Best hit was just over 5%.

HK-47 (L), 88, 86, JE, Nebit. No surprises here. My best was 5.1%, but I've seen twice that.

Teebo (L), Palpenstein, TFP, St Han, RG. Best was 7.2%.

Wedge (L), Biggs, Lando, Leia, Ackbar. No surprises here either.

The teams work and allow me to put in my quota without requiring farming all the newer, better heroes. I can still use Lumi! Yeah, other squads have better potential, but these get the job done and give me efficient use of my existing roster.

For those without Chirpa, Datcha works best as a lead in Heroic P3, I went from getting 300-400k with Teebo lead to 950k +/- 100k with Datcha, STH, Palp, TFP, RG. The special damage from Palp's shocks keeps reducing the droid's TM.

Ohhh, it's not the potency for TFP but EP's lead that grants 20% TM to an empire ally when they inflict a debuff.
