Heroic ready

So my guild can complete t6 of the sith raid in four days. Are we to the point where we should try the heroic lvl? How high does a guilds GP have to be?
  • Agreed. It was clear to us once we tried that we had P1 covered but were short on P2 (had to throw everything at it just to get to P3 near the end).

I just posted in discord and the guild message to use phase specific teams. Didn't take ultra organization to get our progress check in. The wasted lost tickets for trying was annoying, but it did give us a good info and a nice break from the daily t6 grind.

    How far did you get?
  • 20% left in p1. We have alot of nih haters, but we're close to getting enough people up to snuff on it.
  • Really? How many solid RJT teams do you have? It should only take about 15 "reasonable" squads to kill p1. This is also something that can be practiced in T6. The only difference is that Nihilus hits a lot harder in heroic, he's tougher, and he has a 50% chance to take a 3rd action (which is significantly less impactful post-nerf).

Good players should be scoring 8-10M in T6. The next time you try Heroic, make sure people don't post "crap" scores like 1-2M. Set a percentage threshold (based on the # of RJT squads you have), and don't let people post their scores if they're below it.

For example, if you have 25 RJT squads, set a limit of 5%. That way 20 squads who complete 5% can kill the phase. A couple squads might make mistakes and hit below that, but some of the squads should also hit above that, and in the end you should finish the phase. Then, focus your attention on the players who aren't following instructions - because early HSith attempts require a lot of discipline and organization, and players who don't follow instruction are usually just dead weight. Expect everyone to contribute - otherwise (IMO) they are indicating that they don't want to be part of a Heroic Sith guild.

No offense, but i wasn't actually asking for help. I know what we need to work on and where we need to be to get past p1 and the rest of heroic. I just have to get it worked on without changing the stated culture of our guild.
  • We did one attempt on heroic a little while back and I think I did 13% in P1.

I've never been able to top 8m in T6 and I have everyone up to 100% effective cc, with the usual speed and crit dam stats.

Hmmm, I'm just guessing here. I have posted ~7M in Heroic with my squad, so I assume if I went into a T6 raid I could add a few more million points due to the slower and weaker Nihilus.
  • I'm sure I got some lucky RNG and subsequent tries will be lower. Beginner's luck. ;)
